Brianne Murphy, Principal

With over a decade of experience in private practice, Ms. Murphy represents public and private sector clients including small business owners, nonprofits, investors, and individual litigants. In addition to providing comprehensive litigation support, Ms. Murphy develops public policy and strategy on a broad range of issues including labor & employment, healthcare, transportation, energy, and homeland security.

Prior to founding Murphy Group, Ms. Murphy served as a lobbyist and consultant at Hall & Associates in Washington, D.C. During law school, Ms. Murphy clerked at the firm of Queller, Fisher, Dienst, Serrins, Washor & Kool, LLP in New York.

Ms. Murphy earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A. from George Washington University, where she received the Presidential Achievement Award.  She is licensed to practice in New York, the District of Columbia, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia.
